Music Ministry

This is the worship unit of the church. It usher in the people into the presence of God through worship and songs of praise. They prepare the people and the atmosphere for the word of knowledge or revelations from God and invite the presence of God into the service through intense worship and songs of praise. To become a member of the team you must be.

Ushering Ministry

The ushering department is the first gate keeper of the church because he is the first contact that people see when they arrive for service and the last to meet on their way out at the end of the service. He represent the face of the church.
An Usher has a true love for the people of the church, he has the desire to promote an atmosphere of reverence and worship in the house of God. He stands ready to assist during worship and service time.
Usher ensures absolute concentration during service time by eliminating distractions of any sort.
The department combines a lot of role together varying from hospitality, welcoming new members, orderly sitting arrangement of members, arranging the bulleting and distribution, collection of offering and its safety, and also ensuring that distractions are avoided during service time. They also help with the Lords supper (Holy Communion)

Sunday School Ministry

The Sunday school department is established in order to grow disciples that will develop others. It is a platform for teaching biblical truths, and bible based doctrines of the ministry. Importantly, anyone ministering in the unit will teach the undiluted word of God, as well as establishing brotherly/sisterly relationship as way of example while impacting knowledge.
As ministers in the department, you are expected to carry the presence of God always, so as to be able to imbibe in the student an excellent spirit.
While preparing for the Sunday school topic, you must ask yourself the following questions:
a. Is the lesson based on the bible truths and doctrine?

b. What is the relevance of this lesson to the student’s daily life?
c. Does the lesson nourishes and edifies the body of Christ? (The church)
d. What teaching approach has been suggested in the manual to achieve the set goal?

Welfare Ministry

It is the arm unit of the church bestowed with the responsibility to cater for, care for, and serve the poor and the needy primarily within the church and by extension others in the community where the church is located. They reach out to needy children, adults, male or female irrespective of their nationality, background, within or outside the church just to extend the love of God to them as we can. The team assist members in need of assistance to meet their basic needs.
Periodically support needy members of the community with basic necessities through established charity within our means. Demonstrate the love of God through active support and volunteering in the community in trying times

Prayer Ministry

The unit comprises of a team of genuinely born-again Christian who have received a special calling in the place of prayers, supplications and intercessions. They serve as the ‘eyes’ over the fold of God and support the pastorate in providing the required prayer cover for the church.
Because of the sensitivity of the unit, it is only open to workers who are willing, available and have the burden to intercede for others.
They are available to stand in gap for God’s people, God’s work, and agree for the requests and concerns of God’s people.
They intercede for the church and its leadership in the place of prayer and they prayerfully give support for upcoming special programs and Sunday service.
They receive prayer request from members, agree with them in prayer and share spiritual revelation as a guide for adequate intercession
They build up the personal spiritual growth and enrichment of all the church members through prayer.
